Exported Files

When you export data from Mumara ONE, the file is prepared in the background and listed on the Exported Files page, where you can download it or delete it.

Go to Tools → Exported Files.

What ends up here

Every export you start from the app appears on this page:

TypeExported from
Contact listA contact list. See Contact Lists.
SegmentA segment, with the contacts that matched it when you exported. See Segments.
Email suppressionYour email suppression list. See Suppression.
Domain suppressionYour domain suppression list.
Opens, Clicks and other statisticsA broadcast's results, such as the contacts who opened or clicked, unsubscribed, bounced or complained. See Broadcast Stats.
LogsA broadcast's sending logs.

Most exports are CSV files, which open in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc or any text editor. Some are ZIP archives: extract them before opening.

Use Search to find a file by name, and Show entries to choose how many rows appear per page. The newest exports are at the top.

Download a file

  1. Go to Tools → Exported Files.
  2. Find the file. If the Download column shows a spinner, the file isn't ready yet.
  3. Click the green download icon when it appears. The file downloads to your computer.

While any export is still being prepared, the page refreshes itself every few seconds, so you can leave it open and wait. Contact list exports also show their progress next to the spinner, for example how many contacts have been written out of the total.

Download from anywhere

When an export is ready, a download icon in the top bar shows how many files are waiting. Click it to download a file straight away, or click View All to open this page. See User Interface.

How long files are kept

Exported files are kept for a limited time only, then removed automatically.

  • The Deleting In column counts down once the file is ready, for example 47:59:31.
  • When the countdown reaches zero, the file is removed and disappears from the list.
  • A removed file can't be recovered. If you still need the data, export it again.
Download before the countdown ends

Download every file you need as soon as it's ready. Mumara ONE doesn't keep a copy after the file is removed.

Delete files

You don't have to wait for a file to expire. To remove one straight away:

  1. Click the Actions menu (the three dots) on the file's row.
  2. Click Delete and confirm.

To delete several files at once:

  1. Tick the checkboxes of the files you want to remove, or the checkbox in the heading to select them all.
  2. Click Bulk Actions → Delete All and confirm.

Deleting a file is permanent.

Keep exported data safe

Exported files usually contain personal data about your contacts, such as email addresses and custom field values.

  • Download exports to a secure location and don't share them more widely than needed.
  • Delete files from this page once you've downloaded them.
  • Delete local copies when you no longer need them, in line with your data protection obligations. See Compliance.

Troubleshooting

The spinner doesn't go away

Large exports take a while, especially big lists and segments. Leave the page open: it refreshes itself until the file is ready. If an export stays unfinished for a long time, contact Mumara ONE support.

A file I exported isn't listed

  • The countdown may have run out. Expired files are removed automatically. Export the data again.
  • It may still be starting. Wait a moment and reload the page.
  • Check the search box. Clear any text in Search.

Nothing happens when I click the download icon

  • Check whether your browser blocked the download, and allow downloads from one.mumara.com.
  • Reload the page. If the file has just expired, it disappears from the list.
